Our Story

Years ago, in a deep-sleep dream, Clarity Clinic founder Claire Wood - a Naturopath and Medical Herbalist trained in Cosmetic Formulation - was given some advice she has never, ever forgotten. In it, a famous American Naturopath told her that any formulations she made for her clients should always have four qualities:

First, they must be effective; they must do the job they are intended to do and meet the needs of the person using them.

Second, she must make the formulations her own – bringing to bear all her knowledge, skill and experience to make combinations that not only work, but that represent her experience, her values and her knowledge.

Third, she was told they must be creative; that she should use her intuition as well as her expertise and craft formulae that were original, rather than copying what others have done before.

And fourth, the formulations must be beautiful; they must be harmonious and uplifting to the bodies and souls of the people using them.

These are the principles that guide Clarity Clinic. Every product in the range has been developed within, and measured against, these criteria. We strive not only to create products that work, but that also give the user a beautiful sensory experience, lifting the sprits and creating a sacred space for self-nurturing.  

Our philosophy is to take the very best of nature - the purest and finest natural, organic oils and botanical extracts – and combine them with the science of skincare, using natural, naturally-derived and nature-identical ingredients which have proven clinical performance to support skin health, tone and resilience. These ingredients are used at concentrations which clinical trials have shown to be most effective, making each ingredient count without waste, fillers, or compromise of quality.

We all age, and our skin ages with us. At Clarity Clinic we see ageing as a natural process to be respected - which is why you will never see the term 'anti-ageing' on our products. Our focus is on achieving and maintaining the glowing health of your skin, regardless of your age.
